What type of dog treadmill is currently in the Hot2Trot Pups Mobile Gym?
We use slatmill treadmills. The slats are designed for dogs to get them working at their own pace.
How long are the sessions on the dog treadmill?
Each session is 30 minutes long.
How long will it take for my dog to get acclimated and comfortable with running?
Each dog is different and their adjustment to new experiences vary. Most dogs adapt and start having fun during the first run. Some dogs need a second run to get the hang of it. Once they do, their tails will wag when they hear the van coming down the street!
Do I need to stay with my dog?
Though you’re welcome to stay – you don’t have to. However, we suggest you stay for the first 10-15 min of the first session.
What can I expect from my dog after each session?
Every dog is different. Most dogs may want to rest afterwards but many look forward to the next session!
How many dogs can have fun in the van at the same time?
We can run 2 dogs at one time in the van.
What areas do you service, and which days and times do you operate?
- Upland/Claremont: Mondays and Fridays, 9am – 6pm
- Fontana/Rancho Cucamonga: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9am – 6pm
- La Verne/San Dimas: Wednesdays, 9am – 6pm
- and some surrounding areas
How many dogs are needed to make a group reservation?
A group consists of 6 dogs are more.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand life happens. As long as you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, you will retain a credit with us, good for 60 days. Cancellations made 24 hours or less are subject to a $25 fee.
Are there age, weight, height, or breed restrictions?
There are weight restrictions – The large treadmill has a weight limit of 100 lbs and the extra large150 lbs. All small dogs are welcomed no matter the weight. No age, height, or breed restrictions.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept credit/debit cards. Once used, each card can be securely saved for future payments.
What disinfection protocol is used between sessions?
Surfaces in the van are cleaned and disinfected between each session.
